America or Sodom!

I recently made a post similar to this but It was before the decision of the supreme court on “same-sex marriage”.

But let it be heard clearly and known truthfully. The Supreme Court does NOT have the authority to define morality of any kind. Only THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY does – And He doesn’t change! BE SURE OF THAT!

Hebrews 13:8 KJV

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

To born again Christians – Not “professing Christians” :

Jude 1

Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most HOLY FAITH, praying in the Holy Ghost.

It’s NOT time to be “Politically correct”. It’s time to be TRUTHFUL!

Keeping in mind the words of John:

1 John 5:2-5

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

I hope you have blessed week in the Lord!

  1. Charles, I am so blessed by your words and scripture this morning. I pray for His Divine Wisdom in this matter and all others- for a path to extend the Glory of God’s Kingdom, delivered in a manner which will be heard. But first I need that solid rock of understanding and solid rock of wisdom to be flowing through my soul. I write the word “need” because I am feeling a bit shaky at the knees when the loud voices speak up that say this is ok. I pray for sold strength from our Lord! Oh, Holy Spirit! Guide us through these times with Mercy and Grace and in the footsteps of Christ Jesus! AMEN!

  2. “Gay-rights” and “same-sex-marriage” are but the latest harvest of what the church has been sowing for centuries. It is also Satan’s most-recent assault in a battle that began in the Garden of Eden. Most Christians refuse to consider the true-answer to “Who told you that you were naked?” (Genesis 3:11a), because if they did, it might uncomfortably rearrange some of their “theological-furniture”, and it would go against what they have been taught all their lives (traditions of the elders). Our bodies and our sexuality have been under assault by Satan ever since. Long-gone are a Biblical understanding of mankind being created in God’s image and likeness, and with it, Biblical sexuality.

Gnosticism, which teaches “spirit-good/body-bad”, and Asceticism, which teaches that “all pleasure is sinful, therefore, sex is also sinful”, started making inroads into the 1st-century church, which prompted John and Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, to refute both heresies in their writings. Both heresies were from the pit of hell and the Father of lies, but they still survive, albeit in a milder form, even today. As a result, few Christians understand the implications of being created in God’s image and likeness, and anything to do with sex is taboo in most churches, including the Biblical teachings about sex.

The church can’t shine “light” it doesn’t have into our world, and until the church regains its own “salt”, it can’t share that either. Thus, the church, and our society, are reaping what the church has been sowing for hundreds of years. I have written several articles about these issues, and sometimes I feel like a “voice crying out in the wilderness”, but I am only one of the growing-number of Bible-teachers and theologians who are trying to make our voices heard above the din of Satan’s minions.

I am going to a conference next month where the theme for the weekend is “The Image Matters”, and the title of the keynote presentation is “The Importance of the Imago Dei as a foundational Theological Concept and the culturally relevant implications for reclaiming a Biblical understanding of the doctrine in the church”. It will be led by Matthew Neal, one of the foremost Christian writers about this topic.

    Blessings,
    Steve

    1. I so appreciate your comments here Steve. I am so glad to know that there are some who chose to cling to the biblical doctrines and to wake up those who are being deceived into believing a Christless and emotion-driven Christianity.

If you can make an article about the conference you’re about to attend, I would love to read it about.

Thank you, and keep up the good work brother Steve. Be blessed beyond measure!
