SCRIPTURES THAT MANY WILL NOT PREACH ON TODAY. Hope you will read and share this article!

God is holy and hates all sin. God has chosen us in Christ to be holy and we must hate what God hates and love what God loves. (Ephesians 1:4) God has called all of us to live a holy life and there are no exceptions.
This call to a holy life is based on the fact that God in the very essence of His Being is holy, holy, holy ! SO VERY SHOCKING THAT MANY SAY THEY ARE CHRISTIANS AND NEVER GIVE ATTENTION CONCERNING HOLINESS AT ALL.Hebrews 1:9 says that Jesus ‘loves righteousness and hates iniquity’. Now if you follow Jesus you must love righteousness and hate wickedness and if you do not then you are not a follower of Jesus.

1st Peter 1:15′ But as He which hath called you is holy ,so be ye holy in all manner of conversation.’ This word conversation is talking about our ‘daily conduct’ and how we live our lives. This is God’s standard not mine but He gives us the ability to obey His calling to live a life that pleases Him. 1st John 2:29 says if we are born again we will practice righteousness. Titus 2:12 says the grace of God will teach us to live righteous lives ‘right now’ in this evil world.

As one man said,’ When it comes to God’s attitude toward sin, only a strong word such as hate conveys an adequate depth of meaning.’
These days we have removed the word ‘sin’ from our vocabulary and few preach against sin and always want to be upbeat and positive with little self help mini sermons which means a lot of compromise with sin in the modern church today.

Hebrews 12:14 commands us to follow after holiness for without holiness no man will see the Lord.To follow after holiness we must focus on holiness.
Romans 6:22 says we are ‘now free from the control of sin’ and that those who are born again will produce the ‘fruit of holiness.’ The bible says this not me.
Proverbs 6:16-19″These six things doth the Lord hate: yea seven are an abomination unto him. A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood. A heart that deviseth wicked imaginations ,feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among the brethren.”
Do we hate what God hates? Psalm 97:10 says ‘Ye that love the Lord hate evil.’

Today we call sin by many different names and today few hate sin and see the need to live holy in this world. Sin is not a mistake, a weakness or an accident. According to Psalm 51:4 David said, ‘Against Thee, Thee only, Have I sinned, and done this evil in Thy sight.’ So sin is doing evil in the holy sight of God!
Sin is evil !

Now there is a connection in fearing the Lord, living holy and hating sin.
1.Proverbs 8:13″The fear of the Lord is to hate evil:pride and arrogancy ,and the evil way ,and the froward mouth,do I hate.’ The fear of the Lord is defined as ‘hating evil.’ But who preaches and teaches on the fear of the Lord today?
2.Proverbs 3:7′ Be not wise in thine own eyes:fear the Lord ,and depart from evil.’ Believers must make a clean break with every form of ungodly compromise and continually resist and renounce sin by the power of the Cross and the Holy Spirit !
3.Proverbs 14:27 ‘The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.’ If we fear the Lord we will renounce ,depart and turn away from evil !
If we truly reverence His holy presence and fear the Lord we will hate sin.The fear of the Lord is called a ‘fountain of Life.’
4.2nd Cor.7:1’Having therefore these promises ,dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.’ Sin is filthy and we must get rid of that which can pollute our minds.

The bible is so clear on this as we see in 1st Thess. 4:7″ For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.’
We have a divine calling to live pure lives not impure lives.God gives us the power and grace to live pure lives and to say no to ungodliness and worldly lusts.Yes in Christ we can live a godly life in this present fallen world.(Titus 2:11-15)

Let all who read this simple post take the time to study all the scriptures in this post.
