Welcome guys,

We are told not to love the world,

1 John 2:15: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

And not to conform to the world,

Romans 12:2: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Why? Because Jesus says, we are not of the world,

John 17:16: They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

So why is it, you can no longer tell the difference between the world and most professing Christians in churches today? Just because your pastor says there is nothing WRONG WITH worldly entertainment in the church doesn’t mean he is RIGHT! true Christians know that they are different than those of the world, and do not love the world. Yet many, and I use the term loosely, Christians are no different, and act no different than the worldly unbelievers.

Same thing with many famous TV ministers who are loved by millions including unbelievers because of their sugar-coated, motivational messages. jesus said: if you were of the world, the world would love it’s own. yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world , therefore the world hates you {John 15:19} remember, the world does not speak well of true Christians, so woe to you when all men speak well of you, for so did their fathers to the false prophets {Luke 6:26} to God be the glory.

  1. Thanks for visiting my blog! It is great to see that there are other people out there who want to learn the truth. We are in the world, but we are not to be of the world! That is why we have been called out!

  2. Be encouraged! Here’s what my studies have shown to be the “missing link”: The earth is the creation of divinity (see Psalms 24: 1, KJV); and the World is the creation of mankind for exchange, interaction, and survival upon the earth (e.g., language, money, philosophy, science, technology).

  3. I am thankful for the “like” that you gave my blog, The Ruminant Scribe. Because of it, I was led to your site. Amen … if the world does not see any difference between us as Christians end them as nonbelievers, perhaps the Christian needs to evaluate their status!

  4. You are right in what you say here. Most of what is said in denominational churches is wrong. Some of what is said in non-denominational churches is incorrect. There is one church mentioned in the bible, (Acts chapter two.) And whatever was done in worship in that church is “God-approved.” Follow the bible and only the bible as the guide for worship…and for life!

    Thank you for visiting!

      1. This is a very kind reply! I try to encourage others in Christ as a child of God. I am nothing without Him…

    1. Thank you for nominating me.

I checked on your blog to know how I will do it, and I think I am going to give it a shot hopefully in two days. That is on the weekend.

Thank you for thinking of me!

  6. Amen to that! Jesus warned us that deception would abound in the last days. Those days have arrived. It is incredibly sad to see so many “Christians” embrace the false teachings that are being taught today. If the church wasn’t so biblically illiterate, it wouldn’t be happening so quickly.
