Rom 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
In my life, I’ve found that knowing God’s will can be tricky. My flesh tends to get in the way! The truth is, it’s not that difficult at all. Of course, the Bible doesn’t have your specific name in it with the perfect job, spouse, city, etc. that you are supposed to choose, but in those cases, it’s fairly obvious what is not the will of God.
Bro Christo taught on some very specific things we can know about God’s will. If we apply these things to our lives, it’s a lot easier.
His first point was, “The will of God comes with a promise. If God wants you to do something, there is a promise attached.”
1 John 2:17 “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
Heb 10:36 “For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”
If you do God’s will, you receive eternal life. That is one of the promises.
